Shishu Avlep or Baby Ubtan

Shishu Avlep or Baby Ubtan is a natural cleansing and deep nourishing formula for a baby’s skin. Applying baby ubtan is an age-old tradition wherein the babies are given a massage before bath and then the ubtan is applied. Since our baby ubtan is made with pure natural ingredients so it is absolutely safe. It helps to cleanse, nourish and bring in brightening effects on the baby’s skin. It makes no lather since it has no chemicals.

 Make a paste of powder with water or raw milk. Apply gently on baby’s skin in circular motions. Avoid contact with eyes, scalp and hair.Then wash the body and face gently with warm water.Can be used daily. If you feel dryness on baby’s skin then massage the body with oil.

Almond oil- Almond oil is best for a baby’s skin since it is potent with Vitamin E which helps to make the skin healthy, soft and supple.

Red Sandalwood powder- Rakta Chandan as it known in Ayurveda has been used for generations on skin for its healing properties. It has a cooling effect on skin when applied and has anti-inflammatory properties. It also has medicinal properties to heal heat rashes in children

Manjishtha- Manjisthaor Indian Madder has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties which helps in keeping the skin healthy from within.

Amba Haldi- Apart from having medicinal properties, Amba Haldi leads to soft and glowing skin.
